Under The Weather

Studying how people and their environment interact is what inspires most of my creative work.
While the country was in lockdown, I turned my lens on my 5km, the North
Inner City, using my camera to capture the conditions and paint the blurred
lines between reason and fear, between the constants that we knew and what was unravelling.

‘Under the Weather’ explores the unnatural, the suspended, the loss of human touch and close contact; impressionistic glimpses of Dubliners living between the raindrops, and the new bulletins.

“The whole point of taking pictures is so that you don’t have to explain things with words.”
