The Art Deco shelters along Clontarf Promenade were were designed by Dublin Corporatin`s architect, Herbert Simms, and were built in the 18930s and 1950s. These iconic shelters, some of which are also called "wind shelters" or "bathing shelters," are known for their curved roofs, geometric openings, and concrete construction.
